About Per

I am a software developer who is very passionate about everything related to software development. I believe in simplicity, elegance and pragmatism. I have a Ph.D. in Software Engineering from Blekinge Institute of Technology in Sweden. After a couple of years at Ericsson developing telco software, I am now a software consultant with factor10. I work with exciting projects and meet passionate people in many different settings.

Some things I like to talk about:

• Test-Driven Development (I think it’s one of the most important tools a developer can use)
• Domain-Driven Design
• Avoid speculation—act on facts at hand
• Keep a clear focus on deliver often
• Get rid of blame culture—work together!

I live outside of beautiful Karlskrona in southern Sweden with my lovely wife and two wonderful children, from whom I learn new things every day!
